Black Rabbit Service is looking for an experienced Coffee Equipment Field Technician to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. We pride ourselves on being a customer service forward company, while providing high quality equipment repairs. We are excited to offer this opportunity to a qualified candidate who can help service our current customers and help us grow in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in the Coffee Industry with a basic understanding of equipment brands and models
-1 or more years experience as a coffee technician
- Have a solid understanding of coffee and general extraction theory
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to our customers and their employees
- Basic computer skills (Quickbooks, Google Docs, Excel, etc.)
- Must have a valid CA driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work on your own and self-manage
- Flexible schedule with availability to work some evenings and weekends
Work Environment
- Work will be done at our workshop in Hawthorne, CA, on-site at various cafes, restaurants, bars, hotels, and offices in Los Angeles, Orange County, and surrounding areas
- Lots of time spent in a van driving from one service call to another physical demands
- Must be able to safely drive a large service van (chevy express, ford e150, etc)
- Must be able to walk, stand, and kneel for extended periods
- Must be able to climb a ladder
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Perform repetitive motion with hands, wrist, and forearms to operate tools
Compensation
- Salary - $23+/HR DOE
- 2 weeks of paid time off (accrued)
- Phone plan reimbursement
- Take home Company Van
